At last, we made it! After three days of sailing, including two sketchy reef passes during which our engine failed, and running aground on coral (ack) we finally made it alive to a very jostly anchorage behind the reef in Tulum, right in front of the palapa- and backpacker-ridden beach. Mike left us here and headed home.
