02/16-17/06: "Nevada" is Spanish for "Snowy"  
This was on the wall of the post office in Austin, NV.  It used to be used by the Masons who built it.  Apparently they have a calendar that is offset from ours by exactly 4000 years.  At first I thought this was a Mormon thing, but the nice postal lady explained it to me.  She also helped me send a package of Chiky cookies (from Central America) to Pat in Hawaii.  She told me that was the first piece of mail to Hawaii she's ever seen come through that office...
