Last fall I toured with the Alley Cats (a doo wop a cappella group). The tour was booked through Allied Concerts, which provided us with Josh, our driver and sound tech. He told me his next tour would be the Legendary Ladies of Broadway. On Jeb's mom's coffeetable I saw a flyer for their local concert series and behold! the Legendary Ladies were playing just an hour away that night in Bartlesville, Okalhoma. So I rushed out and caught up with them. It was the 28th birthday of one of the singers and we had some cake and ice cream back at the hotel. The woman in the middle is supposedly one of the best drummers in Minneapolis and was not born as a woman.
