Album: 2/3/06: a mushroom feast Just the night before, I was telling Pete (over a meal of cooked brown mushrooms) how much I would like to learn about different types of edible mushrooms. And then Ahoy! I happened upon a mushroom saleman the very next day. I bought $12 of 12 different varieties and took them home for a sampler feast with Pete (Brea is out of town; this is how we fellas get down and party). Last change: 08/12/08

Album: adventures on BART BART stands for Bay Area Rapid Transit, and is the commuter train system in the San Francisco area. When I was designing fare collections systems for Cubic back in the day, my very first project was BART and it is a great joy to see (and use!) parts I designed in action here. Last change: 06/26/08
