At this little town of XXXXX, Pat, Ben and Enav dinghied to shore while I replaced our ailing winch. You can just make out them making out.

Our dinghy oars needed constant attention. Ben here is re-tying, once again, once in a series of a thousand, the makeshift oarlocks made from short segments of cord. Notice that we are anchored in miraculously shallow water, thanks to the Supernova's miraculously shallow draft!

Okay, I know you've seen enough of Pat's body and the kissy couple but in the editing process I had to leave this one in tact, due to the witty comment someone added.

This photos fails to demonstrate the lot we were in. This freak windstorm ended up dragging us a quarter mile on our anchors. We thought we were in a cozy little protected bay but the wind came out of exactly the wrong location --the narrow entrace-- sweeping waves down the chute, threatening to send us into the mangrove. Pat ended up diving on the 15-foot-deep anchors in pitch dark to set them deeper in the soft silty bottom. We ended up having all three out and that held us for the evening.

Ben's coconut-cleaning session on an island inside Glover's Reef resulted in the visitation upon his hide of hundreds of jijenes... stinging sand flies! aargh! these bastards treat you with a tiny drop of acid on your skin, making a hole through which they extract your lifeblood in tinny but incredibly irritating amounts.
