we pulled anchor at 1:30am and motored out the pass in the no-moon dark. hard onshore wind and seas, and clouds that obscured all ability to see landmarks or stars, resulting in pat losing his dinner (breakfast?) for the only time the entire voyage, while up on the pitching foredeck putting up jib. we motored into the weather for 1.5 hours and then sailed south. |
