on our day off, then, we walked to the giant pier on the south end of town, which seems like the only place you could get away with anchoring out. looks fine, actually. there is a reef pass there that is probably in your photoguide, but of course you won't have such a willing guide if you don't plan to pull into a dock you pay for. we asked questions of the guys out there on the dock and they vaguely mentioned a few coral spots inside the reef to look out for but the water is so clear there if you had nice sun you could find your way to the area south of the pier where the muddy bottom is. |
