This was one of several music projects I completed during my involvement with UCSD's music department.  Jeff Thomasson was my recording assistant (thank you, Jeff) and is featured as a vocalist.  The source sounds were all gathered from the Campus Research Machine Shop, where we both worked for several years.  

My aim was to produce an organic event from inorganic sources, a pseudoscientific demonstration that creative human intervention can summon life where none existed before.

All material was recorded on DAT, tweaked and assembled using Pro Tools, Sound Hack, Deck, and a few other tidbits which have long escaped my fleeting memory.
