Simon Graves (Miami to Panama)
Born: April 19, 1976 Patuxent River, Maryland, USA Citizenship: USA Height: 5'8" Weight (before departure): 165
Simon left his job as a mechanical engineer to pursue better environments than that of his cubicle and Conference Room 2. He has passions for music, food, the outdoors, and travel. Whenever possible he likes to combine all four. This trip is his first to this particular slice of the Earth.
Simon has a weakness for ice cream, especially a brand in the USA called Ben and Jerry's. The boat has no capability to maintain a cargo of ice cream.
His personal website can be found at www.ladytrap.org.
Born: May 12, 1970 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Citizenship: USA Height: 6' 0" Weight (before departure): 175
Prior to this trip, Jim was a research scientist at UCSD. He is a chemist, in the American sense of the term, and focuses on the origins of life. His laboratory resembles that of a stereotypical mad scientist, full of test tubes and beakers and steaming puddles of primordial gunk.
Jim is no stranger to fly-by-night adventure. He has lived in Honduras, taught English in Japan, gathered mushrooms for weeks on end in Alaska, and eaten live mammals in prison.
Jim speaks Spanish fluently.
Born: April 25, 1976 Oakland, California, USA Citizenship: USA Height: 5' 10" Weight (before departure): 175
Pat recently quit his job as Chief Correspondent to the Unified Nation of Marine Mammals, citing "spend more time with family" as his primary motivation. Few know that in the succeeding weeks Pat was spotted on five continents and three planets, purportedly in search of his car keys.
Pat and Simon met in 1994 over a card game and since then have caused more mayhem than this website is willing to divulge.
Pat has an affinity for infinity.
